Volunteering at LCWF

Lanka Council On Waterfalls(LCWF) relies heavily on the work of local unpaid members of staff who offer their expertise to assist on projects and to assist the organization's administration. In the past LCWF has worked with Ecologists, journalists,Environmentalists and lawyers on specific aspects of LCWF projects If you are interested in working with LCWF in any aspects of our work please contact the LCWF office on +94 (0)11 5648151/+94 (0)71 2733986 or email <waterfalls@sltnet.lk, afejchairman@yahoo.com> LCWF recruits overseas volunteers to work as project assistants and coordinators.

The LCWF is willing to absorb Volunteers and Interns from all over the world to be engaged in its conservation and biodiversity programmes. Please contact LCWE by email for further details. The responsibilities of volunteers include researching existing projects, researching funding sources and developing new project ideas. Volunteers will also be involved in the implementation of active projects and will be responsible for communicating with donors and partners. Volunteers are provided with accommodation in Nugegoda, within walking distance of the LCWF office but will have the opportunity to visit and work at Sri Lankan Waterfalls project sites throughout the country. We also occasionally recruit overseas volunteers to work in specialist positions on particular LCWF projects. If you would like more information about being an overseas volunteer at LCWF please contact Lasitha or at <waterfalls@sltnet.lk, afejchairman@yahoo.com>
